From Rot To Remarkable

A prestigious lakeside home had its outdoor space compromised by a dangerously rotten timber deck. Years of exposure had left the beams, ply, and insulation beyond repair — unsafe, unsightly, and unusable.

Northwood Build was brought in to completely strip out the decayed structure and rebuild it from the ground up. We installed new support beams on weatherproof adjustable pedestals, improving drainage, stability, and longevity.

For the finish, we fitted composite woodgrain decking — a modern, low-maintenance alternative to traditional timber that resists rot, fading, and warping. The result is clean, stylish, and built to last.

This transformation not only restored safety and structure but elevated the space into a premium outdoor retreat, perfectly framing the stunning lakeside views.
